NEET 2025 result was declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 14, 2025. The result of NEET 2025 is available on the official website of NTA. To download the NEET 2025 result, candidates need to log in to their registered accounts on the official website. NEET scorecard can also be downloaded using the same method. Candidates must note that the result of NEET 2025 will not be sent by post under any circumstances.
NTA released the NEET UG 2026 syllabus on January 8, 2026 with minor adjustments aligned to updated NCERT textbooks. For those preparing for NEET 2026, the focus should be on thorough Exam Preparation. NEET syllabus is divided into four subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The NEET 2025 result was accompanied by the release of the final answer key. The result of NEET 2025 is final. NTA does not entertain any requests for re-evaluation of the answer sheet post the declaration of the NEET 2025 result. The role of NTA is limited to the release of NEET result 2025 and preparation of the merit list. Candidates who qualified NEET 2025 were eligible to participate in the counseling process conducted at both state and national level.
It is important that the person scores minimum qualifying marks. The scorecard for NEET 2025 contains candidates’ All India Rank (quota and category), overall & sectional marks and percentile. The counseling procedure will be started after the result declaration.

NTA will announce NEET Result online after evaluating the answer sheets thoroughly. The steps to check the NTA NEET Result are given below:

After the declaration of result, NEET 2025 merit list will be prepared by the exam authority on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the NEET-UG exam. NEET-UG merit list will have All India Ranks of the candidates. Apart from the merit list released for All India Quota counselling, a separate merit list for NEET-UG will be released state wise. The merit list of NEET 2025 will consist of the names and ranks of the candidates who successfully clear the entrance exam. Candidates must note that two different merit lists of NEET 2019 will be released by NTA. One merit list will be for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the other will be for 85% State quota seats.
Multiple lists are released based on the category of the candidate. An overall NEET merit list is also released which has details of all the candidates who have cleared the examination. The merit lists of NEET are then shared by the NTA with the different bodies responsible for the counseling process. It is basis this NEET merit list, that the state and central seat allotment lists are prepared.
Candidates who qualify the examination can download the scorecard of NEET 2025 online. It is important to note that those who do not score above the qualifying examination will not be issued the NEET scorecard 2025. The candidate will require the NEET 2025 scorecard during the counseling process, thus, they are advised to keep it safe till the admission process is over.

The formula for calculating NEET Score :
NEET Score = (Total number of correct answers x 4) – (Total number of incorrect answers x 1)
NEET 2025 had 180 compulsory questions (45 Physics + 45 Chemistry + 90 Biology) with a total of 720 marks and a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes).
